Plan A Visit
There's Always Room For You Here
Thank you for checking out our website to learn more about Hope Community Church! We’d love to have you join us in person or visit us online. When visiting any new church you’re bound to have questions. Here are a few that get asked frequently with some information that may help you. If you have further questions, you can always contact us by calling our office at 413.786.2445 or emailing Pastor Brad at brad@hopechurchagawam.org.
When and Where Do You Meet?
We currently meet “up on the hill” at 152 S. Westfield St., Feeding Hills, MA 01030 at 10am on Sunday mornings. Our services are live streamed on our YouTube channel, as well.
What Should I Wear?
We often say, “We don’t care what you wear; we just care that you’re there!” Some people dress up and some wear more casual clothes. Some come in their work clothes because that’s where they go right after church.
What Do I Do Once I Park My Car?
Our main lobby entrance is located in the back of the church adjacent to the rear parking lot. You can either take the stairs going up or use the elevator in the ground level handicap entrance. (Go up one level to the main lobby). Once there you’ll be met by one of our friendly greeters who can direct you to our Welcome Center or directly into the sanctuary. If you’re in need of using the restrooms, they are downstairs on the Lower Level. You can get there by either taking the elevator down to the Lower Level or accessing the stairs in the back of the sanctuary. There is a coat rack located on the Lower Level at the bottom of the stairway, too.
What Is Your Church Service Like?
Our worship service lasts approximately 60-70 minutes. Usually, our worship team starts our gathering by playing 3 uptempo contemporary worship songs, followed by some church announcements, a biblically-centered message given by one of our pastors/elders, and a few more songs of worship to God that close out our time together. The goal of our time together is to corporately love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and hear from His Word so we can apply it to our lives when we leave.
What About My Kids?
Worship is for the whole family, and we love having kids with us during our worship service! However, we understand that it's sometimes difficult for kids to stay attentive that long. So we provide a staffed Nursery with loving, trained volunteers to care for infants through 2 year old's on the Lower Level.
There is also a Cry Room located just off the back lobby. It has a large curtained window and audio of the sanctuary broadcasted on a speaker so moms with crying/nursing infants can use it and still feel part a part of the service.
Kids Church is offered for kids ages 3 to 2nd grade during the message portion of the service. Kids are dismissed at the beginning of the message to the Lower Level with several energetic volunteer who provide age appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, music, and other fun stuff just for kids. At the end of service, adults go downstairs to pick up their kids in the library before Sunday School begins.
Lastly, if you're looking for "something else" to help keep your young ones engaged during service, there are Activity Bags chock full of fun things to do hanging on hooks in the back of the sanctuary just below the Cry Room window. Just grab one at the beginning of church and return it at the end!
What Happens After Church?
Please don't be afraid if people come up to you and say, "Hi!" We're known as a "friendly church!" However, there are several choices you can make after attending on of our worship services:
  • Stick around and chat. there are always people standing around and talking. Maybe you'd like to get into a conversation with one or more of them.
  • Visit the Welcome Center in the Main Lobby. One of our greeters should be there to meet with you to answer any questions you may have. or you can check out some of the items we have on our resource table.
  • Attend one of our Sunday School classes. There are classes for kids starting at age 3 to high school, as well as for adults.
  • Attend Discussion Time. Following our worship service, everyone is invited downstairs to the Lower Level for some refreshments and a time to chat with others. Soon after that, our Discussion Time starts when a facilitator begins a discussion based on that morning's message. It's a time to as questions, share your thoughts, or just listen to what others have to say.
  • Meet the Pastor. On the last Sunday of the month, one of our pastors takes a few minutes to meet any new people in the Main Lobby to say "Hi!" and just share a bit about Hope Community Church. It's a short, informal time when you can ask any questions you may have, as well as connect with a pastor.
Whatever you decide to do, we hope you enjoy your experience at Hope Community Church and plan to visit us again!
